Our commitment to equity

Partners IN Food and Farming is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, political orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. We strongly encourage applications from people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women, LGBTQ people, or those who are members of other marginalized communities. Data shows that women and BIPOC candidates more frequently do not apply to a job because they don’t feel that they meet all of the qualifications listed. Our job descriptions are general overviews, not a mandatory comprehensive list. If you feel passionate about our efforts and believe that you have the skills to contribute to the growth of our  organization, we want to hear from you!

A day in the life at PIFF

Our employees work remotely and are expected to be located in the state of Indiana. What does this mean?

90% of our meetings are virtual and held between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm EST. Some meetings and events are held outside of those hours but these are scheduled in advance to ensure full participation. This comes with the expectation which means that we work on a flexible working schedule and we do offer limited comp time.

Travel is expected of all PIFF employees and the amount is dependent on the role. We offer mileage reimbursement but expect employees to use their own vehicles.
